Our Tuscany Tours
Our tours of the Tuscan region are completely customizable. Anyway if you don't have a clue of what to see in Tuscany,

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

Have you thought about combining a Tour with a Transfer? We can pick you up at your hotel, make the Tour and drop you off in another town..

we built up for you two base itineraries coming from our old experience in this business.
It's difficult to say the difference between the two tours, usually at the end of the day people ask to do the other the next day, so they are both great.
We think that visiting a foreign country also means trying the typical food of the area, so in both tours we include a  typical tuscan lunch, not a fast light snack. When you will be hungry we will find a local place and enjoy our meal without rush.

The Red Tour (Crete Senesi and Southern Tuscany)

This tour touches the Southern Tuscany. We will start around 9 a.m. (or later or earlier if you would like to, don't foreget that you choose!). In the morning we will drive through the Crete Senesi area one of the most famous incredible and particular landscapes of Tuscany, were many Oscar movies are made. There we will see the typical Tuscan farms with the cypress roads and wheat fields all over. After a while we will be arrived in one of the oldest Benedictine abbey of Italy (1350) where they still keep the silence vow and where we will able to see the incredible masterpieces from Signorelli and Sodoma. Then all the way downhill to enter the Orcia Valley where we will be visiting very nice charming towns still off the beaten path; we will then stop in one of the oldest and charming Roman Baths of the central part of Italy with a windmill system started in the Etruscan times. We will be visiting many other  little medieval towns still surrounded by their XII sec. city walls.

The Blue Tour (Chianti Classico region)

This tour touches the are called Chianti Classico. We will start around 9 a.m. and we will touch just a little piece of Crete senesi, then we will head into the Chianti and the landscape will change very quickly from the soft golden hills to the harder but not less beautiful green fields of olive trees and vineyards and secular forests. We will visit one of the nicest castles of Tuscany owned by the Ricasoli family since the 1141;  in the afternoon, depending from their availability, we could visit another castle (the summer residence of the Ricasoli baron) and we will start heading towards the other two towns who mark the border of the original map of the Chianti region. During our driving we will be stopping in other very nice off the beaten path little villages still undisclosed by the big buses, one of them counting only 45 inhabitants. During the day of course it will be possible to make wine tasting any time you feel you would like to. At the end of the day we can stop and visit an Etruscan tomb dating back to the 200 B.C. (the tomb unfortunately was raided so there isn't much inside, but it will still be very interesting to see the tomb rooms). Before getting back to the hotel, if we'll still have some daylight, we can stop in one of the few fortress/towns of Italy still intact like in the Middle Ages.

Of course if you have any particular place you'd like to go, we can build around your indication the kind of Itinerary which best fits your interests. Many people in example ask us about San Gimignano. We always suggest not to include this destination in our Itinerary, because this village, although very beautiful and charming during the night, becomes over over over crowded during the day and its mediaeval atmosphere is spoiled by hoards of tour buses and very touristic souvenir shops which, we guess you understood at this point, we don't like very much.
Anyway if you do want to go there, of course there's no problem for us to add this destination to our day.
