Where should I stay in Tuscany?

We do suggest to make Siena your homebase and take your daytrips from there.
Siena is in the center of the three most important and beautiful areas of Tuscany: the Chianti, the Orcia Valley and the Elsa Valley. Also  everyday from Siena you have 7 direct buses to Rome and 4 to Milan, plus a bus every hour to Florence and many to S.Gimignano, Lucca and Pisa. Of course we do provide a transfer service from and to the major towns of Italy, but if your budget doesn't allow this confort, you have these alternative solutions.
Last but not least, Siena has not been overtaken by tourists yet and still keeps its mediaeval athmosphare like in the XIII century.
We DO NOT have agreements with hotels and Villas and we DO NOT take commissions from them for writing a review on this website, they don't even know that we made their name here; we like to be indipendent and free to suggest you what we really think is the best accomodation in Tuscany. This philosophy is paying us back and people still say thank you after years and years.
This page is constantly updated and changes according to what our guests, during the tour, tell us about their accomodation. For a wider view of all the hotels and  the best deals of the moment, you can click the link at the bottom of the page and either make a reservation or just check availability.
