Tuscany is beautiful, but keep your eyes open!
Making a nice website is easy..
A website is always a good way to introduce yourself and your business. Although.. sometimes the reality can be different from the picture you built in your mind on looking at those fancy graphic animations and slideshows on other wesites.
For this reason, independently from weather you'll be choosing our company or not, we would like to make sure you are well aware that
there are some people who might be offering their service without any authorization. The first thing affected by this, is of course the lack of quality of the service. These people most of the times don't speak a good English (to say the least) and they have a very poor knowledge of the Tuscan area. We constantly give ourselves very strict rules to keep the quality of the service always at the top. In case (God Forbid, of course) you have an accident while you are in one of those not licensed cars, their insurance is not going to give you a penny to cover your expances here in Italy.
So, when you see their car, make sure that on the front there is a sign like this on our car on the left, saying NCC.
And in the back there must be a symbol of the Municipality that released the license with the number of the authorization. Of course cabs are also authorized to transport people (they usually make just urban short legs) and instead of our NCC signs, they all have a Taxi sign on the top of the car which is always white in Italy.
We are verified by PayPal (Visa/Mastercard/American Express) and we do
accept bank wire deposits.
Another good evaluation method to check how reliable a company is, might be this:
BEWARE of people asking you to be paid only in CASH. Let's clarify: we don't like either very much to pay all these commissions to Credit Card brokers (we pay the 4% at our own charge), and if we can, we prefer to get paid cash, but at least
WE ALWAYS DO GIVE YOU THIS CREDIT CARD PAYMENT OPTION, so you don' t have to bring all the cash with you or simply you can use it for something else.
People without a business license DO NOT give you this option, as they cannot leave traces of the money transactions. They don't even accept Bank Wire Deposits.
Of course there are exceptions to the rules, we are not saying that EVERY business not accepting credit cards is not licensed, but at least in case they tell you that they only want cash, it's good to keep your eyes wide open.
